Electric bicycle? Why?
You often ask us, why, particularly in the recent few years, many people do select and they buy electric bicycles for their locomotion?
It is obvious:
- They can easily go to up-hill roads, like in straight.
- No sweat. Something very important, specifically when you use it in order to go to your work.
- They move faster and economize time, without delays in traffic jams. In the cities where the average speed of cars drops very low, the use of electric bicycles gives an important advantage in the locomotion.
- They can easily park everywhere in town.
Compared to the car and for a distance inside city of 440 km per month (20 km * 22 days) they economise above 10 hours each month from their precious time!
- They can have access in more areas in a city. As an example in streets where the passage is prohibited for cars and motorcycles, but is allowed in pedestrians and bicycles.
- They move safer than before, because they achieve speeds closer to the street flow speed.
- The climate of our country encourages us in the use of electric bicycles almost all around the year.
- They are noiseless. They also contribute in the reduction of noise pollution.
- They are enviromental friendly.
The energy our electric bicycles consume for a distance of 50 km, is the same as one conventional light bulb of 100 Watts turned on for 3,5 hours. If you used the car in order to cover the same distance, the energy consumed would be 215 times bigger, that is to say the 100W light bulb would be supposed turned on for 752 hours, in other words above 1 month. When you cover 5.000 km per year with the use of electric bicycle, you decrease the emission of CO2 in the atmosphere roughly by 1.500 kilos. Our electric bicycles really contribute in the maintenance of climate in the planet.
- All materials of our electric bicycles, metals, plastic, and batteries are completely recyclable.
- Their use is economic.
With the current fuel prices of (1,5+ € per litre of petrol) the profit from the use of electric bicycle compared to the car is 12 - 15 € every 100 km or 600 - 750 € for 5.000 km
Compared to motorbike the profit from the use is 5 - 8 € every 100 Km or 250 - 400 € for 5.000 km
Of course if we add also the cost of car or motorcycle for authorisation - dues of circulation, safety, dues of classification, maintainance - repairs, by any chance fines (eg outlaw parking or helmet), the profit from the use of electric bicycles is doubled or even tripled.
Substantially their owners achieve the damping of electric bicycle purchase at about one year or if they select an electricconvertion kit in least from 6 months.
